My art is a reflection of the places I've ventured and the souls I've encountered. I was born in the vibrant city of Mumbai, India, and from an early age, I harbored a deep affection for art and the magic of drawing. In my youth, I embarked on a creative odyssey, giving life to a collection of artworks using Charcoal, Watercolor, and Pencil. However, the course of my artistic voyage was momentarily interrupted by the demands of education and career.
It was when I embarked on a new adventure, relocating to the United States, that I decided to rekindle my artistic passion. With a fresh canvas and boundless determination, I immersed myself in various artistic media. Along this colorful journey, I discovered my true artistic voice, finding resonance with Pastel and Watercolor as my preferred mediums for creative expression. The beauty of my new surroundings, combined with the vivid stories I encountered, became the paintbrush for my art.
But that's not where my creative pursuits end. Photography soon found a place in my heart. I realized that every moment is a story waiting to be told, and with every click of the camera, I captured these stories in vivid frames. Photography, for me, became a way to freeze time, to document the world's beauty, and to showcase life's extraordinary moments.
Amid the challenges that the world faced during the Covid era, I unearthed a new passion – indoor planting. It was a revelation that even in colder climates, one can cultivate lush, vibrant ecosystems right within the cozy confines of their home. My journey into planting introduced me to an enchanting world of both rare and common plant varieties from different countries in the world. I've curated my own collection, tending to their growth and nurturing their unique beauty.
With each of these endeavors, I've realized the immense joy in sharing my passion with others. My art and plants are not just a reflection of my personal journey but a celebration of the beauty in the world around us. It's an invitation to explore, to connect, and to adorn your world with pieces of mine.
Thank you for joining me on this expedition, and I'm excited to have you as a fellow traveler on this creative path.

I have known Rupali for a number of years during which time I have seen her develop as an artist. I find her work to have a strong design and a good development of color and textural levels. I am most familiar with her oil pastels but recently have had the pleasure of seeing some of her charcoal work. Rupali has a sensitive style and a skilled understanding of the media she works in. You should consider adding one of Rupali’s pieces to your collection

Wonderful artwork and portraits! I particularly liked the portrait of Rupali's Mother but all of her paintings are extremely well done. I follow Rupaali on Facebook for glimpses of new art pieces and a schedule of her exhibits.
